Colorado student attendance increases; chronic absenteeism declines as every grade level and nearly every student group improves

Colorado's chronic absenteeism rate fell to 27.5% in 2025-26, its lowest level in four years. State education data show attendance rose slightly to 91.5%, up from 91.4% a year earlier.
